Lijit Blog Search Rocks!

I signed up for Lijit cuz I saw it on my friend's blog. Honestly, I thought it was just a search thing for my blog. No. It's more. It gives these stats thingies that are AWESOME! I'm sure you're totally familiar with the concept of search terms that bring people to your site, but me? No. Who cares who comes from where and how many people come? I don't. I don't get anything from it.

But people are coming! Woo! And it's a neat feeling. I write about stuff I like, and if people are getting at least a little teensy bit from it...cool!

But back to Lijit. I got this email from them:

"I wanted to personally thank you for installing our wijit on your blog. As an amateur photographer, I really enjoyed checking out your pictures, especially the NYC photoset. I never get tired of photographing that city and always find something interesting to document while there. Thanks for sharing your projects and the cool things you’ve found!"

The email goes on to ask me for feedback on their service. To be honest, I'd forgotten I even installed it on my blog. But they emailed me, they proved they spent at least a second on my blog, so what did I do? I put a Lijit widget on my other blog, Texting While Driving. Flattery will get you everywhere...with me anyways. :)
